Donation opportunities

Donate through YouthLink

Brighten a young person’s day and let them live or shop like their peers.  Send us or drop off whichever of the following cash cards or other items you want. Our professional staff will then identify the youth or family for whom your gift will do the greatest good. We’ll confirm where it has gone as soon as we know.
Gift cards: In any amount, gift cards are an easy, helpful and direct way of making an immediate and meaningful difference. Our youth tell us that ones for these outlets are most useful to them:

  • The dollar stores,
  • TTC Presto card,
  • Phone cards,
  • Walmart, Canadian Tire, and other general stores,
  • No Frills, SuperCentre, Metro, and other grocery stores,
  • Shoppers Drug Mart and other pharmacies for food and personal items,
  • A mall, good for any store in that mall,
  • Joe Fresh, Old Navy, Urban Planet, The Garage, Ardene’s and other youth clothing stores, and
  • Tim Hortons, Starbucks, McDonald’s and other fast food chains

School supplies: Fill up a new school bag with fresh supplies, and know that you’re helping to advance a young person’s education. June to August is the best timing for these, just in time for the upcoming school year.
Clothing: Due to limited space, we are not accepting used clothing or furniture items. We will gladly take your store packaged underwear, socks, coats, sweaters, mitts, hats, and slacks for youth aged 14 to 21.

We know this is a stressful time for everyone, and we want you to be able to continue to access our counsellors and clinicians in a safe and secure way so we are now offering you online video-conferencing counselling and support.

Our E-Counselling What’s Up Walk-In service will be open Monday – Friday until further notice. If you would be interested in booking one of our daily video-conferencing appointments for a counselling or support session with a clinician, call 416-967-1773 extension 222 and you will be connected to our Intake department.
