Shamshad Bee is a lawyer with over a decade of experience in the child welfare sector. In this capacity, she became well-acquainted with the vital role that YouthLink plays in the lives of the youth that they serve. Prior to this, she worked at a national law firm where she specialized in civil and commercial litigation. Shamshad also holds a M.A. degree in Ethnic, Immigration and Pluralism Studies from University of Toronto and has over 5 years’ experience serving on the board of another community-based, non-profit organization. She was born and raised in Scarborough and now lives there with her family.
