The Youth Advisory Committee is for youth leaders aged 16-24 who are passionate about advocating for youth mental health and ensuring that YouthLink has a youth lens on programs and services.

The committee meets monthly and hosts two events annually in partnership with The New Mentality group, an initiative of Children’s Mental Health Ontario.

Are you eligible for the Youth Advisory Committee?

Young people aged 16-24 who are living in Scarborough are eligible to become part of the Youth Advisory Committee.


How soon can you start?

Ongoing recruitment and a 4-week onboarding/training process.  


How long will the program last?

YAC members can remain on the committee up to the age of 24.
