Youth Advocating Anti-Homophobia Awareness (YAAHA)

YAAHA was created by LGBTQ2S youth for LGBTQ2S youth in Scarborough who identify along gender or sexual diversity spectrums and are seeking an inclusive, affirming drop-in group to connect with others and receive referrals to other supports.

Program Overview

Eligible youth must identify with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer or Questioning, and Two-Spirit, LGBTQ2S+.  We provide informal one-on-one counselling and group activities including group chats and hanging out with like-minded young  people for friendship and support.

Are you eligible for Youth Advocating Anti-Homophobia Awareness (YAAHA)?

This program is open to all LGBTQ2S youth, 13 to 24 years of age.


How soon can you start?

Immediately, whenever you are ready, just contact us.


How long will the program last?

The program will last as long as you wish to participate or until you reach the age of 24.
