What’s Up Walk-In

Program Overview

WUWI counsellors can help with anything that’s on your mind. Come in on your own or with a friend, family member or caregiver to address depression, bullying, sexual identity, behavioural concerns, ongoing conflicts in relationships, concerns about school struggles, substance misuse or abuse, impact of separation or divorce, worries about how youth manage grief and self-harming behaviour, and other matters. Every family is unique and you are welcome no matter your circumstance.
Services are available in English, Armenian, Tamil, Cantonese, Hindi, Arabic, Urdu and Hebrew. Other WUWI locations offer services in other languages. For more information visit the WUWI website: https://www.whatsupwalkin.ca/
Visit our clinic if you’re a youth aged 12-24 and want to:

  • learn how to deal with stress
  • learn how to stay positive and balance your emotions
  • learn better ways to deal with family conflict
  • learn coping mechanisms to manage anxiety and/or depression
  • develop positive, healthy relationships
  • learn how to study for tests

You’ll see a counsellor as soon as one is available. At the end of your session, you and your counsellor can discuss next steps, like utilizing WUWI in the future, joining another YouthLink program or something else appropriate for you.
With each visit to WUWI, if you attend more than once, you will see a different counsellor who may be able to provide a different approach to your concern.

The What’s Up Walk-In program is made possible with support from the RBC Foundation.
